Although incorporated in 1990, the story of The Print Source starts back in 1986:
| 1986 | As Prairie Graphics, Inc. in Glenview Illinois, we were one of the first companies to purchase a Macintosh computer for typesetting. |
| 1990 | Opened Rictec Professionals, Inc. (now The Print Source) with a “computer to film” processor. |
| 1992 | Opened a subsidiary in Lake Villa, Illinois. The focus of Double Click Printing and Graphics was to have an all digital workflow, from design to press. We were one of the pioneer developers of the “computer to plate” process. |
| 1996 | We bought our first digital press. This “copier on steroids” was second to none at pumping out four-color manuals for sales training courses. |
| 1999 | We reached $1mm in sales. |
